Japan Association of Microscopic Dentistry

The Japan Association of Microscopic Dentistry (JAMD) is a professional academic society dedicated to the promotion and advancement of precision dentistry using microscopes.

JAMD was established in December 2004 as the Japan Microscope Study Group. In 2006, it was renamed the Japan Association of Microscopic Dentistry, and in 2019, it became a General Incorporated Association. Today, JAMD has grown into an academic society with approximately 2,500 members.

Since its establishment, JAMD has promoted research and educational activities in microscopic dentistry. Through academic meetings, seminars, publication of its academic journal, and certification programs for dentists and dental hygienists, JAMD works to improve knowledge and clinical skills in microscopic dentistry.

Furthermore, JAMD actively facilitates information exchange among its members and collaborates with related organizations both in Japan and abroad, thereby contributing to the advancement of microscope-enhanced dentistry and the overall quality of dental care.
